Sixteen-year-old Fred, aiming for a quiet life, accidentally awakens the centuries-petrified Finsterstein family. Synopsis

In The Finstersteins, 16-year-old Fred discovers his identity as ‘The Awakener’ when he inadvertently resurrects a royal family cursed into stone for 400 years. Thrust into the role of their protector, Fred must navigate the complexities of introducing the Finstersteins to the 21st century, all while combating the descendants of those who cursed them, intent on returning the family to their petrified state.

Amidst these trials, Fred grapples with teenage life, including rivalry for the affections of Sina, the family’s defiant daughter, and adjusting to his unconventional pet crocodile. This comedy-drama blends the challenges of modern adolescence with the enchantment of fantasy, setting the stage for a tale of magic, revenge, and discovery in the face of age-old vendettas and the quest for belonging and love.
